Getting started.

Should I see a nurse or a doctor for cosmetic injectables?

Either can do excellent work — what actually matters is the depth of training in the specific procedures you're receiving. In aesthetics, many of the most respected and sought-after injectors in Canada are nurses, not doctors, because they've spent years specializing in injectables specifically. I'm a Registered Practical Nurse working under the medical direction of Nurse Practitioner Lauren Scott. I've spent 5 years specializing exclusively in aesthetic medicine and reinvest in advanced training every year. When you're choosing an injector, ask about their injectable specific training, how often they treat the area you're interested in, and who their Medical Director is — those answers tell you more than the title does.

What is a Medical Director and why does it matter?

A Medical Director is a regulated healthcare professional — usually a physician or Nurse Practitioner — who oversees clinical decisions and supports complex cases or complications. They also have the authority to prescribe the medications we use in our practice. It's required by Ontario regulation for nurse-led aesthetic practice, and beyond the legal requirement, it ensures there's a second clinical mind reviewing care. Lauren Scott, NP, is our Medical Director.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

The best way is a free in-person consultation. We'll talk about your concerns, your goals, your budget, and your history with treatments. From there I'll give you my honest recommendation — including whether the treatment you came in asking about is actually the right one. Sometimes it isn't, and I'll tell you so.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes. Consultations can be booked alone or as a “consult and same-day treatment” if you'd like to be treated the same visit.

Do you offer packages or financing?

Yes to both. Packages are available across most services and are designed to support clients on a long-term treatment plan — most aesthetic treatments produce the best results when done as a series, and packages make that more accessible. Financing is available through our partner DoFinance, which lets you spread the cost of a treatment plan over time.

Do you offer a new-client discount?

Yes — 10% off your first treatment when you join our mailing list. Sign up on our website, and mention your subscription when you arrive for your first appointment. The discount is applied at checkout.

What is your booking and cancellation policy?

A valid credit card is required to secure your booking — you won't be charged at the time of booking. We ask for at least 48 hours' notice for any reschedule or cancellation. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours, missed, or arrived more than 15 minutes late may be subject to a $50 fee charged to the card on file. The full policy is on the Contact page.

Treatment & safety

Treatment & safety.

Is it going to hurt?

Most treatments are quite manageable. I use a gentle technique with topical numbing, lidocaine-mixed products, ice, and careful pacing to keep you comfortable. Most clients are surprised by how easy their treatments actually are.

How much downtime should I expect?

It depends on the treatment. Botox has essentially no downtime — you can return to your day right after. Filler could result in swelling or bruising and should be planned around events or travel. Microneedling has 24–72 hours of redness. Deep laser treatments can have 2–3 days of redness. We'll review what to expect for your specific treatment at consultation and this information will be included in online forms.

When will I see results, and how long will they last?

This also varies by treatment. Botox is visible at 7–14 days and lasts 3–4 months. Filler is immediate (with full results settling at 2 weeks) and lasts 12+ months. Sculptra develops as soon as 4 weeks and over 2–3 months. It lasts up to 2 years. PRP and microneedling build collagen and results over 4–6 weeks. Each service page on this site has a results timeline specific to that treatment.

What products and brands do you use?

For neuromodulators, primarily Dysport and Nucieva (Botox brand available on request). For dermal fillers, Revanesse. For biostimulators, Sculptra. For microneedling add-ons, PRP and VAMP by Prollenium. For skincare, ZO Skin Health, AlumierMD, Hydrinity, and Halederma. All injectable products are Health Canada approved.

What are the risks and side effects?

Every injectable and skin treatment carries some risk — bruising, swelling, redness, and rare complications. I review the specific risks of each treatment with you in detail at consultation, and we discuss your full health history before booking. Choosing a properly trained provider working under medical direction is the most important factor in keeping risk low.

What if I don't love my result?

We'll talk through it. For Botox, we can adjust at the 2-week follow-up. For hyaluronic acid filler, we can make adjustments as well at the 2–4 week mark. For PRP, microneedling, and other regenerative treatments, results build over time — patience is part of the process.

Can I combine treatments in one appointment?

Often, yes. Botox and filler can be done together. Microneedling can be combined with PRP or VAMP. Mesotherapy facials pair beautifully with Botox and filler. We'll plan combinations safely at consultation.

Is it safe if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

No — most aesthetic treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There isn't enough clinical research to confirm safety in these cases, so I won't treat. We'll plan for treatment when you're ready.

Will I look unnatural?

No. Whether you prefer softened movement or fully relaxed muscles, neuromodulators and filler can look entirely natural when placed thoughtfully — natural doesn't mean barely visible. You'll still see meaningful results. We tailor every treatment to your face, your goals, and what suits you.

Pricing

Pricing & assessment.

Why do Botox prices vary between clients?

Because every treatment is customized. We focus on results, not one-size-fits-all pricing. Neuromodulators are priced by unit and units required depend on muscle strength, skin integrity, lifestyle, etc. We cannot give you a price without assessing you.

Can you tell me how much filler I need?

We cannot determine how many syringes you will need until an in-person assessment is done. Please do not send your provider pictures of your face as we cannot determine without seeing you in person.

Do you offer online gift cards?

Yes — gift cards can be purchased in person or online here. They're delivered digitally and are redeemable on any service.

Why medical-grade skincare instead of drugstore brands?

Drugstore skincare uses lower concentrations of active ingredients, which means it's safe for everyone — but also that it often doesn't move the needle on real concerns. Medical-grade skincare uses higher, clinically tested concentrations and is dispensed by professionals who can guide proper use. It's how you maintain and amplify the results of in-clinic treatments.
