Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
in Keswick and King City.
Your body's own platelets, used to encourage collagen, repair, and growth — for the face, add-on to microneedling, hair restoration, and the under-eye area.
What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma is exactly what it sounds like — plasma separated from your own blood in a centrifuge, concentrated to contain a high level of platelets. Platelets are full of growth factors that signal your body to repair, regenerate, and produce collagen and elastin.
Because PRP is made from your own blood, there's very little risk of allergic reaction. It's one of the most natural anti-aging treatments available.
A typical PRP series is 3–4 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Once you've reached your desired result, maintenance is 1–2 times per year.
What I treat with PRP.
Facial Rejuvenation
PRP is injected into specific areas of the face to improve skin texture, tone, fine lines, smile lines, marionette lines, dull complexion, and overall skin quality. It's especially effective for clients who want anti-aging results without filler or neuromodulators.
Under-Eye Area
The under-eye is one of the most-requested PRP areas. PRP can improve dark circles, the tired look that comes from thinning skin, and fine lines around the eye. Topical numbing is applied for comfort, and the appointment is relatively quick.
Hair Restoration
PRP is injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth, thicken existing hair, and slow shedding. This is one of the few non-pharmaceutical hair treatments with consistent clinical results. Many clients see visible improvement after a single session, with full results developing over the recommended 3–5 session series.
Microneedling Add-On
PRP can be combined with microneedling. The microneedling creates microchannels in the skin, and the PRP is applied immediately afterward — getting the growth factors into the skin where they can work. This is an excellent treatment for skin texture, scarring, and overall regeneration. PRP also speeds up post-treatment healing!
Naturagel PRP Gel
Naturagel is a treatment that takes your PRP and through a thermal process creates a biostimulatory filler-like gel using your own platelets. It works differently from a traditional hyaluronic acid filler — the volume is more natural and it stimulates collagen production over time. A consultation is required to determine if it's the right fit for you.
Who PRP works best for.
PRP suits clients who want a natural, regenerative approach to anti-aging — who'd rather work with the body than against it. It's effective for skin quality, the under-eye, and the scalp.
It's not the right tool for adding immediate volume (that's filler), relaxing muscle-related lines (that's Botox), or correcting deep volume loss (that may need biostimulators or filler).
PRP isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for clients with certain blood disorders or active infections. We'll review your full health history at consultation.
Your appointment, step by step.
- Blood draw. A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm — like a routine lab draw but much less.
- Centrifuge. The blood is spun to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the rest. This takes about 10 minutes.
- Numbing. Topical numbing is applied to the treatment area.
- Treatment. PRP is injected (or applied via microneedling) into the target area.
- Aftercare. Specific instructions depending on the area treated.
The full appointment usually takes 60 minutes.
Manageable, with minimal downtime.
PRP is well tolerated. Topical numbing helps significantly, and most clients describe it as manageable.
Downtime varies by area. Facial PRP typically has 24–48 hours of mild redness and possible small bruising. PRP under the eyes can sometimes cause temporary puffiness or bruising that resolves in a few days. Hair restoration has essentially no downtime.
Results timeline.
- Weeks 2–4: First signs of improvement — skin looks brighter, refreshed.
- Weeks 4–8: Continued improvement as collagen production ramps up.
- Maintenance: 1–2 sessions per year keeps results consistent.
For hair, results often appear earlier — many clients see thickening within a few weeks of the first session.

Packages available for the full series.
Current pricing is on the booking portal. PRP packages are available and recommended for the full 3–5 session series, which is when you'll see the best results.
PRP questions, honestly answered.
Is PRP safe?
Yes. Because PRP is made from your own blood, there's very little risk of allergic reaction or rejection. The risks are limited to those of any injection — bruising, swelling, and rare infection at the injection site.
Will it hurt?
Topical numbing is applied before treatment. Most clients describe it as tolerable. The blood draw itself is quick!
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need 3–5 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. This will vary by area and concern.
Can I do PRP and other treatments?
Yes. PRP combines well with microneedling, and many clients pair it with Botox or filler in their overall plan. We'll plan the timing to make sure each treatment supports the others.
Can I have PRP while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. PRP is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How is PRP different from filler?
Filler physically adds volume using hyaluronic acid. PRP doesn't add volume — it stimulates your skin to produce its own collagen and elastin. They work in completely different ways and can be used together depending on your goals.
